Transfer

In academia, “transfer” is a term that encompasses many different concepts. The term is used differently across various disciplines and contexts. It examines the dissemination of innovations, such as in technical developments or in medicine. In educational research, “transfer” refers to the distribution of scientifically grounded concepts—or at least those proven effective in experimental practice—that lead to the optimization of the educational system and educational practice, and thus ultimately to improved educational outcomes for learners.
